Contemporary Cloth is an online store which opened in 2001. Our goal was to provide a resource for interesting, contemporary/modern and retro-look textiles for home or office, at reasonable prices. Our fabrics are used in art quilts, wearable art, wall art, interior design projects, etc. Our worldwide customer base has inspired us to continue on the path that we have started.

We sell commercial fabrics and handmade fabrics by several artists, such as: Sonja Tugend’s triple hand-dyed fabrics, Els van Baarle’s batiks, canvases/DVDs and CDs by Jane Dunnewold, Carol Baker's painted silks, note cards by Billi Rothove and Wallter Wall Applications.

OUR MISSION is to provide and maintain customer satisfaction through reliable service, to support artists and to donate 1% of our net sales to St. Herman's House of Hospitality, Cleveland, Ohio.

In 2004, we opened Modern Wall Art, which is an extension of Contemporary Cloth.
